There was an article published in this weekend’s Sun-Sentinel re: the above Co.

There is an area of that article that I do agree with. The older homes(over 31 years old) have good rates with State Farm.

However I strongly respectfully disagree if the homes are 30 years old and newer.

We, at Southeast Insurance, have seen a spike in the number of requests for Homeowner quotes. In at least 80% of the cases we have severely beat the existing State Farm rate.

We have seen many clients already make the switch. Some clients, who have been with the Co. for many years, seem to be having separation anxiety. We are confident that they will also be making the switch based upon the lower rates and the anger of supporting a company so strongly only to have State Farm turn their backs on their clients and walk away.
